Amchoor ki chutney in 10 minutes

Ingredients

50g amchoor
1.5 cups (350ml) water
250g sugar
1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
½ teaspoon garam masala
½ teaspoon black salt
regular salt to taste
1 teaspoon ginger powder
2 teaspoons melon seeds
2 teaspoons raisins

Steps In Making

1) In a bowl add amchoor powder and water and mix well.
2) Now in a pan add the above mixture and let it simmer on medium heat for couple of minutes.
3) Now add sugar and mix well. Once the sugar melts completely, add the spices like; kashmiri red chilli powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala, black salt, regular salt and ginger powder. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
4) The chutney will begin to thicken a little.
5) Now add melon seeds and raisins and cook for another 10-15 seconds. Do not overcook because the amchoor chutney will thicken once it cools down.
6) Le the chutney cool down completely.
You can store it in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for upto 6 months.
